I am the owner and operator of Sierra Sky Aviation in the picturesque mountain town of Truckee, CA.

Drawing on 13 years of experience as a high school math teacher, I bring a dedication to differentiated instruction and a deep understanding of various learning styles to my role as a flight instructor. Whether you're embarking on your inaugural flight or striving to enhance your piloting skills, I am committed to delivering personalized training and unwavering support throughout your journey.

I am also a commercial multi-engine pilot for a California-based charter company, where I fly right-seat in the King Air 200. This experience allows me to bring firsthand knowledge and expertise from the flight deck to my instruction.

Beyond flight instruction, I am deeply involved in the local community. I volunteer my time with Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue, acting as the first female president of the organization. I bring my knowledge of the local backcountry into my flight lessons, showing respect for the Sierra Nevadas. I also enjoy mountain biking, snowmobiling, backcountry skiing, walking my dog, playing golf, and reading. These activities not only enrich my life but also shape my holistic approach to aviation instruction and making connections with the folks I fly with.
